Osteopathy, what is it ?
Osteopathy was founded by A.T Still in 1870. It's a manual therapy that works to identify and treat restrictions of mobility which could otherwise adversely affect the body.
Osteopathy, when and why ?
Ideally Osteopathy is used as a preventive medicine to identify and reduce risk factors before they require healing. Consulting your osteopath once or twice a year helps to reduce the risk of future pain
Osteopathy, for who ?
An Osteopath can take care of a person in all life stages.There are no contraindications to osteopathy in general, but caution and care must be applied depending on the patient and their situation. An infant can be seen by a skilled osteopath as early as two days (day one in general, they are seen by the pediatrician).
